Bro. Andre Arnold earned the Achievement in Financial Services Award

Andre Arnold, Financial Center’s Vice President of Sales and Community Development, was honored Monday at the Center for Leadership Development Minority Business and Professional Achievers Recognition Awards Banquet. Despite stiff competition, Andre earned the Achievement in Financial Services Award.

the past two years, the credit union established agressive membership goals. As a Business Development Officer, Andre established Insurance Broker relationships throughout the Indianapolis area in order to gain exposure to companies switching from traditional health care plans to high deductible heath care plans. Not only did Andre provide these companies access to the best Health Savings Account in the world, but also conducted financial literacy classes at work sites, educating employees on how they could reduce their health care costs. His efforts and long hours paid off as he gained over 900 new credit union members between July and December 2008. In 2009, Andre was recognized for his extraordinary sales efforts by being awarded the credit union’s President’s Award. In the same year he was promoted to lead his department as the Director of Sales and Community Development. In 2010, Andre was further promoted to Vice President of Sales and Community Development.

Andre is very active in community organizations. However, his real talent is bringing people together. Andre brings his business leadership skills to the organizations and projects that he volunteers with, providing structure, commitment and energy. In 2009, Andre earned the Mozel Sanders Humanitarian Award. Andre was selected for his selfless efforts to help people of modest means in the Indianapolis community. In addition, Andre was honored by the Indianapolis Colts in 2009 with their Community Quarterback Award for his exceptional volunteerism throughout the community.

Andre is a wonderful representation of the credit union’s commitment to improve the financial lives of everyone in the community.
