Xi Sigma Update – Happening This Weekend

Hello Brothers,

Here’s what’s happening this weekend.

Remember you have an opportunity to be recognized as a distinguished member of Xi Sigma’s MAB Club during our 85th GOMAB Awards!

You gain entrance into this club annually by checking 4 boxes:

1. Dues Paid On All Levels
2. Attend or Donate to the Annual Mickens Golf Outing / Scholarship Fund 
3. Attend The Annual Official Chapter Service Project at Indianapolis Motor Speedway  
4. Attend or Donate to the 85th GOMAB Awards which will be held at Crane Bay on Friday December 15th, 2023 (More details to follow)

High-Level Brickyard Saturday August 12^th Logistics:

• Check-in time: 5:30am *subject to change*
• Check-in location: Gate 10 in the North 40 on 30^th street (see attached map)
• Check-out time: varies depending on group assignment (shift will last approx. 10-12 hours)
• Uniform: All group members will receive an IMS Official hat and shirt, please wear black pants or non-athletic black shorts, and comfortable closed-toed shoes.
• Food: IMS provides ice, water, and sunscreen. Members of your group can bring coolers with food or money for concession stands.

City Council Wiman LaKeisha Jackson is calling on the Sigmas to participate in the Annual Far Eastside Community Peace Walk.

Saturday, August 12, 2023. Join us at the Pathway Resource Center’s Annual Peace Walk in a powerful demonstration against the epidemic of gun violence that continues to plague our communities.

Together, we will march side by side, raising awareness, demanding change, and advocating for comprehensive solutions to ensure a safer and more peaceful future for all.
