Race Day Sunday 5/28 at IMS

Greetings Everyone, 

I would like to thank all of you who will be volunteering for Sunday’s race. We are scheduled to meet at Lafayette Square Mall in the early morning (4am): However, the Mall is under new management and no one can park in their lot. We will meet in the parking lot across the street near Georgetown Movie theater. I will be there with my hazard lights blinking. We will be car pooling to the track. If you ride with someone, you are are grouped together; you ride together, you leave together. We will leave the lot at 4:15am so that we are on time for check-in. 

I would like everyone to know that we are expected to work from 4:30am to 4:30pm.

If IMS allow us early dismissal; I will let everyone know. But for now please know that we can’t leave until told. Also, you can bring food and drink for you lunch or pay for food at the event: don’t forget get to bring a lawn chair. You may be sitting for most of the day.
